    No funny enough I think it is to do with the wadding absorbing the sweat and of course the are not as light and flexible as a sheet, the main thing about quilts is that they breathe. I made one for a gentleman who suffers terribly with crohns disease and he loves it as instead of chucking off his duvet when he got hot and sweaty and then of course got cold he found the lightweight quilt works a treat for him.

    I made up the sets of 4 blocks and then used a method similar to this http://quilting.wonderhowto.com/how-...achine-423636/ to join them together. I found it easier to use a stepped zig-zag with a matching thread just in case I didn't meet the seams just so, worked a treat.

    Love --- LLLLOOOOVVVVEEE --- the colors! and I really like the colored thread you used for the quilting design - makes everything "pop" just beautifully.
