His quilt is beautiful and isn't it wonderful to see a young person with something in his hands besides a cell phone or tablet?

Wow, he has done some very nice work there. Such nice colors, and great pieces. This young man is doing a wonderful job. You must be very proud.

So nice that he can enjoy a hobby with you. I hope he does well in the upcoming show! Imagine how excited he would be if he won a ribbon! I think he needs a machine of his own though, LOL!

I also have used the back side of fabrics. My quilting friends laughed at me. Now when I look at fabric, I check the backside too. Sometimes the right side is not right but the backside is a softer color and works great in a quilt.

this is so heartwarming! i LOVE to see kids interested in things like this! your son is a treasure! i see a future "Lipinski" here!! creativity is wonderful and the ones who are the most free spirited seem to have the most. what a great momma you are!

I'm happy to see a young man learning to quilt, that's totally awesome. Maybe a sewing machine for Christmas might be nice and greatly appreciated so you aren't "fighting" over the machine. It's easy to see that h learned his lessons from you well, that's why he's doing so well. Good luck to him at the fair this year.
