I had one idea for mine - some of you will know I've been saying forever that I was going to do a rooster in stained glass aplliqué;..; well, maybe for this? Here's a photo of the design I found. Seriously, I love the idea of that rooster! I do stained glass (the real glass kind) and had to study it. That would be gorgeous in bright batiks! How fun that would be for a quilt center! |
omak, we used to have a white peking duck that rode in the truck with us in the front seat...if you can believe, his name was "New Duck"....then we also had "New Dog"...geesh! You do run out of names at times! :lol:

ok, here's the pic with the new york beauty corner stones.
i had no idea how hard 4 inch NYB are to make - OMG! i have to get one of those square and block things and beat them into shape. i'm going to do some flying geese where that solid strip of black fabric is - it just looks so plain and boring with it just being solid black. so here ya go, enjoy. |
