A precious treasure. And pretty, too.

Your Mom's about my age. The quilt is a real treasure. I love how they made those beautiful quilts with fabrics they had then. Some of mine, from then, have pieces of fabric like a dress or apron that my grandmother, aunts, mother had.

This is the meaning of family values. What a wonderful legacy. I'll Bet great grandma never imagined her 'little quilt' would be seen all over the world. Thank you for sharing a family gem.

How wonderful that this treasure has survived through the years! Congrats to you! If you keep it in a cedar chest, do wrap the quilt in a pillowcase or such to protect it. Thanks for sharing! :)

By all means. Display it and enjoy it. You don't have to use it, but don't hide it.

What a beautiful treasure to have. It is a memory forever.

What a treasure!! I see pieces in that quilt that my Mom made a dress out of in the 1940's. I think some of the same scraps are in some of her old quilts, too.
It is the next best thing to being able to hold them once they are gone. I would show it, but not use it, aside from hugs.

Oh, don't you just love those old fabrics!
