Hello Canadian Loon, thanks for your compliments - I'm not into landscape quilts 'yet' but if I was, that pic in your profile would be a must to try; it's beautiful
Hello magpiefeather - glad you like my quilts and took time to make me feel at home - I have several Pam Bono books and would love to make every single quilt, but.... time and tide do not wait for quileters who email all day long  I've been inundated since yesterday, but love the reactions of so many nice people - my daughter lives 230kms away and hasn't seen any of my 2009 creations except for little photos of WsIP now and then - she wrote to me too after I gave her a link - hopefully she will join the family of quilters one day

Lots of beautiful Quilts.

Junie |
Wow!! Sew many different quilts!! Awesome on all your work!!
I don't recall a particular pattern for the hexagon Junie - I did that a long time ago but think I was just playing with templates in those days!! Glad you like it
Feel free to visit one Australia day folks!! I'd be happy to share my enthusiasm and efforts with you - we can understand more if we're shown how
Ada...you are one busy West Aussie...your output puts mine to complete shame. Love your work, very vibrant (the poppies and the sunflowers are stunning).
Hello Earthwalker, nice to meet you and thanks for compliments - in Perth eh? Might see you at the Quilt Fair in May - will you wear a carnation or whatever or will you be working  Your pic reminds me of the lady who is doing all the NASA quilts of the galaxy etc!!!
Earthwalker, forgot to mention that I will probably be carrying the silouhette ladies tote bag (I'm sure there will be a few of them this year) - not sure which day I'm going yet - depends on daughter coming up from Boyanup
Hello LovingIzabella, thanks for your nice message - I opened that page at a friend's house as I was introducing her to the site and couldn't remember who requested info on the Flying Geese - www.Pambonodesigns.com is where you'll find many lovely patterns - one book I have is The Big Book of Rotary Cutter Quilts - Pam does sell individual patterns on her website too so you might get lucky, but the book is full of so many gorgeous designs, Sunflower quilt and Chilli tablecloth came from that book too - so many more I'd like to do - if only fabric grew on trees. Do give it a try, it was great fun   Well, I'll expect some feedback on that one starting with papyrus
I might just go this year. I usually hate crowds...but the lure is strong and I just may have the stamina to get through it. I don't have to worry about work (I retired early), but seems I have a more jam-packed schedule now than when I worked!
I know what you mean about shortage of time - when we worked for a living we were more disciplined and had a routine, now that we can please ourselves what we do we're less organized because we're multi-tasking and doing more than one thing at a time, right  I don't know how I ever had to work and most of the time at two jobs!! I'll be hobbling along with a walker too and like to be first at shops to avoid crowds - early to bed and up with the birds in our beautiful climate
beautiful
A lady after my own heart. I don't know when I hadthe time to work.
Just wonderful! great job on all..
Thank you so much Ada. I have two of her books but neither have the geese in it. I will check the site out thank you so much!

The Tasmanian Devil pic on the white side of the bag was not in the collection so I searched for one because he is not in our Australiana collections and struggling for survival. My son has friend in Bali who's wife loves Tasmanian Devil cartoon so I found a pic for her too  :-)

Thanks for sharing - live the tone on ton sampler.
Simply awesome !! ALL of them
Hello gmcsewer - thank you for your message - the quilt is Sunflowers in Pam Bono's Big Book of Rotary Cutter Quilts I found some yellow wishy-washy pale yellow thin uneven stripe-ish varying towards deeper orange across the WOF so I fussy cut petals to get the natural grain in petal effect. I also have a couple more of Pam's books and free designs downloadable from her site. Sunflowers are happy flowers and seem to bring out the sunshine everywhere - enjoy making it. Regards Ada
Hello ejpkam - thank you for message and delighted that you like my work - the 'red flower one' is Pam Bono's Remembrance Poppies - I think it was also in a Machine Embroidery Magazine a couple of years ago Happy sewing
Hello Nanjun - glad you like the flying geese pattern but sorry to hear that you lost your man before I had time to make it for him to see - I hope it brought back some comforting memories knowing that you would have liked if for him.
Oh my.... Everything is beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Hello Toto's Mum - you thought I'd nicked your bi focals for an octopus eh? I want to learn long arm quilting, but I'm not an octopus and my arms don't reach as far as your place  Yes, Tasmanian Devil has a very large mouth and can devour a cow without much trouble!! He's not 'all talk and no action like politicians' but is poorly with facial cancer spreading rapidly.
