Wow! What an amazing quilt! You did such a great job. Here's my 2 cents - it's done when you feel it is done. :-)
Ohhhhh My....... what a beautiful, beautiful quilt!! Your daughter will adore it!! Spectacular.
Very very very beautiful! Did I mention how beautiful your quilt is!
Beautiful! I don't think a black on black border is necessary since you already have a dark background surrounding your circles and creating its own border. Lovely job and wonderful pattern.
A lot of work in this piece, but an absolutely beautiful outcome. Well done! Your daughter should be thrilled.
Stunning! I would go further only if needed for size.
Oh my goodness!!! That is a magnificent quilt!!!
What a great job you did!! It is a stunning quilt, breathtaking. Will be wonderful regardless of what you do or don't do for borders. Thank you for showing!
Very very nice quilt. You did an awesome job.

That is fabulous!!
Oh that is beautiful!!
Beautiful!! Absolutely beautiful!
You are really good to do this without a pattern. It is just beautiful
My two cents....
I think a solid border would help "stop" the eye motion. then you could do the 4 patch order. I seem to find that a solid border acts at a frame, making the pieced word within it become the "picture" The outer patchwork just adds a finishing touch in something like this. Great work. Love the pattern. |
I like the use of batiks on this one!
It is beautiful! I would put a simple black border around it and call it done.
It is beautiful! I think either way would look great. Depends on if it is the size you want.
Wow, this is a beautiful quilt! Would you be willing to do a tutorial on how to make the blocks??? I'd LOVE to make one of these!!
WOW Pam, that is beautiful!
WOW and WOW again
Boy that looks difficult! Your points and corners are fantastic. Can't believe you did it without a pattern. I think I'll just refer to you as the quilt wizard!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!
I think it needs a simple, dark border, because the blocks are so big - BUT the border doesn't have to be pieced. It need to be big enough to give the eye somewhere to land after following the circles toward the edge of the quilt.
It's absolutely gorgeous, and I love the colors. Your daughter is so lucky! |
I believe I remember this from the very starting stages. It's wonderful, Pam. I love your palette. And yes, you should add on the border you originally intended. The sides are gonna need some more drop - and she may graduate to a queen size or more. You be glad you did. Congrats - it's great.
absolutely fantastic!
Oh my Heck! Wow, that is stunning!!! Great Job!
Another beautiful project! You are amazing!
It's gorgeous as it is!

What a stunning and beautiful quilt!
Your talent is amazing! |
This is a real work of art. thank you for sharing.
I think you might need a little break, then when you come back to it you will know right away if you need the rows or not! I suggest coffe and chocolate! Or if you want to live on the edge...wine and chocolate!
