The colors are great! These are so much fun and make great gifts. For Christmas 2019 I made so many that every adult with a kitchen had at least a pair. Some had more. All are loved and these are great gifts or great for use at home. You will have loads of fun making them. Congratulations on your first one.

bowl cozy details
I've made a few, and the 1st ones I made with my cotton/poly threads, which didn't hold up in the microwave. You really do need to make them with 100% cotton thread. A live and learn....
Question: can you use the 'wrap n zap' batting in a regular quilt project? I know it doesn't have scrim in it, but does that matter? Thanks for any help or info you can offer! |
Do any of you use just one layer of batting? I made one that way, just to see how it worked. My fingers are getting stiff and turning them right side out is an issue with two layers. The cozy with a single layer protected from heat pretty well but didn't seem to hold it's shape as well as ones with two layers. Thanks

Looks great, Tartan.

Just made 4 for daughter & her husband. They each wanted an extra to keep at work.
Since I had more Wrap ‘n Zap, I made more for the little kids in our family. Works for their ice cream or cereal too. |
Where do I find this pattern on quiltng board
Thanks |
There are several threads that have "bowl cozy" in them. Here are a couple that list an offsite link to patterns.
