Finally finished the Cathedral Window I started from Eddie's tute. Thanks Eddie!!! Would never have given it a shot otherwise.
Did two photos, one inside, and one on the fence in daylight.
Of course, the minute I started to photograph, my quilt inspectors came to check everything out.
With a bribe ( a few Frosted Mini-wheats), they agreed that it suits them just fine!
Thanks for looking.

That's beautiful! That pattern has a special place in my heart, as my grandmother made one for me shortly before she passed away.

Beautiful and I agree that the border fabric sets it off a treat. Can I ask, did you sandwich and quilt just the border? Or the whole thing?

Thank you. This is one I am keeping. Most everything I have done was for other people, or for Project Linus. All I have made for myself was small things like a table runner or throw pillows.

sueisallaboutquilts 06-04-2010 04:52 AM

Wow, that's beautiful!! And I love your friends :D

I found the border fabric online at Joann's. It doesn't have a name on the selvages.

mrspete 06-04-2010 04:55 AM

OOOOOO, now that is so colorful and beautiful. LOVE IT

I sandwiched and quilted just the border. The main part already had enough weight to it, and I didn't want it as heavy as a Mayflower mover's quilt. :D

sawsan 06-04-2010 04:59 AM
