Diane, that is my goal to make one with each color. I would love to see your quilt. Post a picture.

about 20yrs ago I did Christmas trees in green on red for napkins--still use them at holiday time.
I love Chicken Scratch. I did it years ago and have wanted to do it again but have found patterns hard to find. Your blocks look great!!!
wow.. looks wonderful. heard of chicken scratch and have directions but not the patience to do it
Haven't done chicken scratch for years and had forgotten all about it! Love your quilt.
Never heard of it, but it sure is pretty. Your work is wonderful.
my mom does a lot of these. She has piles and piles of blocks in all colors. She as only made two or three quilts so far, but she loves to do it. It is her therapy; relaxation.
I've heard it called colonial lace before and personally I think it a much better name than chicken scratch.
What a beautiful quilt you are making. I love it.

It is an old pattern, made a baby quilt for a granddaughter who 2 months ago had her first baby, and sent me her old quilt to redo and freshen up so she can use it for her baby, I think she is 29 so, it is an older pattern, also made aprons out of gingham and chicken scratch at that time.
