This was my first postage stamp size quilt. as I was working it, I thought that I would not ever want to make another. After it was finisged I loved it so, so that I started # A Rose For My Lady#. It was well recieved by the board. We will see if # Dancing Flames On Water # Meets your approval. This is the last one I will show until I get the rest of my finished quilts photografted.

I agree, you took some not too appealing fabrics and put them into a work of art. It is fabulous.

I thought this was a Bloomin Nine Patch, but it isn't is it? I see lg. squares as well as your nine patches. Is this your own design or a pattern you found??
It is almost as pretty as the other one. Love them both.
Fabulous fabric choices.

noveltyjunkie 11-10-2010 01:50 PM

I am jealous that you can obviously "see" the end product when you are starting off- I can't, so I would never have been able to start on the road that led me from a pile of fabrics, through a pile of postage stamps,to this fabulous quilt. Be proud!

fidgety 11-10-2010 01:50 PM
