Oh, I like those a lot, just as pretty as they are functional.

TOOOO CUTE!!!!! Have you made microwave fabric bowls. They ware like a big potholder but are cupid so bowls will fit in in them. There is a "new" batting to be used in them that is 100% cotton. W/W has some poly in it so I was told by LFS.

love the pot holders! how hard was the binding to put on! I may give this a try and see!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. |
these are soo pretty. i use a lot of scraps & am gifted with huge bags of scraps from friends. i don't use novelty prints in my quilts & have not been able to come up w good use for some of the beautifully colored image fabrics of farm scenes, chickens etc. now i know! we use over sized hot pads to hold our plates in our quite informal style of eating dinner in front of the tv the last few years. visitors seem to think we've hit on a great idea. so ...they'll be getting some very pretty hot plate mats! thank you for this great idea!

I think you have the year pretty well covered. Great job!

Great looking hot pads!! Think I will have to make some. Thanks for the instructions.

I tried to pick a favorite but couldn't. I love them all. I did spot the Easter fabric that I have in my stash.
Thank you for sharing these pretty potholders. Lucky Mom! |
Those are just great to give as gifts. Did you put insulbrite in them?
|
Great looking multi-functional gifts. Yours are just gorgeous. I would love to make some for gifts too. Thanks for the info!
