Exactly what K says. It's still amazing.

And, KGoodhand, both of yours are just soooo cute. I just now had to study each fabric you have in them. Gonna be great!

Looking good ladies! :D I will get mine done this weekend.

I am thinking that I will create each center in EQ6 and then add each border as they're done so that when it comes to me I will be able to play with border designs.

Pam I just spent money because of you! But it was Hans' Paypal account so that's OK!

I thought that was such a great idea with the EQ6, so I said to Hans maybe I could get it for Christmas and he MADE me, literally FORCED me to order it now! Woo hoo!!! :D :D :D

Hmmmm. I tried that a couple of weeks ago with my husband. Told him I soooo wanted EQ6. So far, no go. He's not forcing me to order anything.

pittsburgpam 10-08-2009 09:11 AM

Oh.... I am sooooooo sorry that you HAD to get EQ6!!!

You're going to love it! Not only in general but I think it will be a big help to try out different borders before cutting a thing.

If you need help let me know. There are also a lot of pre-designed border styles you can try out. If you look at my signature blog I have a sample border design for my center to see what it looked like. Those were all done with the pre-designed EQ6 ones.

Thanks Pam! You may regret that offer! I have Quilt Wizard but it's just so limiting and it's largely since seeing you working on the Patriotic top and how flexible that program seems to be that had me whittling away in my brain about EQ6. Now just have to wait for it to drop in my mail box! My only worry is that I may now spend even less time actually sewing and probably end up with millions of E-WIPs!

Sorry Group 5, end of hijack! :D

cutebuns 10-08-2009 10:41 AM

I am not ready to post any pictures yet, of course that would mean that I have the fabric or something picked out.

I promise, I am thinking about it. in between watching the snowflakes.

You mean its snowing already ???? OMG how awful

Elle

cutebuns 10-08-2009 11:39 AM

It has stopped and the sun has come out and melted most of it, but yes, it was snowing. and no, I am not happy about it.

Ducky 10-08-2009 11:39 AM

It's snowing here, too, Elle. I love it.

cutebuns 10-08-2009 11:45 AM

Ducky, stick it, it is too early for snow, there is all sorts of time before spring that I wouldn't mind some white stuff, like I really like it nice and fresh for Christmas. really, I do,

I feel you. I have been procrastinating too and i'm not done yet. I really, really hope mine comes out as it should or else I'm going to be spending this whole weekend doing something totally different. After I figure out what that is.

Well I am glad you like it. Its still hot here around the 75 Degs, thats why ofcourse I moved to Spain. Having been born in Scotland the novelty wore off. Isnīt it early for snow?

cutebuns 10-08-2009 01:27 PM

It isn't actually all that early, half of the time we have snow for Halloween. though it usually don't stick around for long at this time, it comes and goes several times before it is here for the duration of winter.

Here in Colorado, we've had snow as early as September.

Butterflyspain 10-08-2009 01:33 PM

I knew Canada got very cold in the winter but just assumed it was a bit later than October. You have to admit though its good quilting weather :D

cutebuns 10-08-2009 01:35 PM

If my wood stove was clear I would agree with you, we can hang around 0 especially at night at this time of year, it can snow with it being 1 and 2 degrees out (celcius) We have been colder this year than we usually are, -8 and colder some nights.

Canada does get cold but where I am it has only gotten down to about 6 degrees Celsius so far! That is fine by me! We haven't had the furnace on yet but we have had the fireplace going a couple times! And thank goodness NO SNOW yet! Hopefully not for a while! But when you look at a map of North America, where I am located is about the same as Northern California! Snow for Christmas is fine but that is it!!!!

chewboo 10-08-2009 03:40 PM

i only see 2 pictures???

I did Elle's center in EQ6. Not an exact copy but close enough to try out borders on.

Butterflyspain 10-08-2009 11:10 PM

I have got to get one of those gizmos. they are so clever and I could do with some help for my borders.

Yes. thanks for pointing it out - Why or why have we only got 2 (TWO) pictures, come on ladies post your centres P L E A S E

Triple post wouldn't be a subtle way of applying pressure would it.. or maybe a Freudian slip..... I had one of those once... terrible static cling...<grin>

cutebuns 10-09-2009 07:17 AM

She knows that I need a good swift kick in the seat of my pants, I am wondering if that will be enough,
