That is a very striking quilt! I bet your brother loves it, too. The fabric choices are wonderful; they make the quilt look very warm and inviting and add a rich tone to the room.

My husband inadvertantly gifted me with the right perspective on the actual quilting of a quilt. He told me that before I started quilting, he never noticed the quilting on a quilt.

Looks like it was made for that room and that bed. Well done. I'm sure he will show it off and will continue to love it till you make him another one.
