Sorry about the double post. Was not sure if the first one went through.

What a great site. Thank You.

I like both, but for a 50 yo, I'd go without. If it were for a child, I'd say go with the hearts.

Harmony 04-18-2011 09:06 AM

I like it better without the hearts. The snowballs give you some nice big spaces for some fancy quilting.

Qwiltylady 04-18-2011 09:20 AM

I love the blue and white would do hearts in blue if you want hearts.

Ann912 04-18-2011 09:33 AM

Without.

brightstar_202 04-18-2011 10:04 AM

without I think it is beautiful and if she don't like it I will take it. LOL

craftynell 04-18-2011 10:09 AM

With HEARTS.

Great-great granny 04-18-2011 10:19 AM

Love the blues - & I love hearts - if your sis is the kind that would like hearts, try them in one or all of the blue shades used in the blue blocks. Maybe all the different bright colors of hearts are distracting, but think it would blend together & have a whole different look w/shades of blue hearts.

Good luck in what you choose - BE SURE to send us a photo of your choice.

Have a blessed day & may all your quilts be filled w/love.

Really like the all blue and white..........a lot. Hearts take away from the blue.

Quiltlove 04-18-2011 10:32 AM

Either a quilting motif in blue or.....blue hearts instead of multi-colored ones would look great.

peabee 04-18-2011 11:52 AM

without hearts

ga447 04-18-2011 12:02 PM

I like both but I am partial to #1.

dhanke 04-18-2011 12:02 PM

without hearts, the beauty blue and white shines through and you'll have lots of room to quilt in those white spaces too!

luckylindy333 04-18-2011 03:10 PM

I think it depends on the person who is getting the quilt- does she like a lot of color, or would she like just blue and white? Also, I like the idea of putting a quilting motif in the centers, but you could do that whether or not you put the hearts in the centers of the snowballs.

tutt 04-18-2011 03:12 PM

I like it without.

I like the hearts, but would much prefer they be in shades of blue.

wildyard 04-18-2011 03:52 PM

I like the hearts but on this quilt, I think they need to be in the blue shades with the rest of the quilt.

bebe 04-18-2011 03:54 PM

have the hearts quilted in!!!!!

JCL in FL 04-18-2011 03:59 PM

I like it better without. It makes it looks a little too juvenile for me. But you could always quilts hearts in the blanks areas. I 've seen great stencils with hearts if you hand quilt,

JSNOMORE 04-18-2011 04:02 PM

without

penski 04-18-2011 04:34 PM

with out the hearts for a adult

Pieceful Quilter 04-18-2011 04:37 PM

What a pretty quilt. I think the hearts look too little girl. Either do them in the same blue, or maybe use the white of the snowball for some really stunning quilting.

molly2 04-18-2011 04:41 PM

without the hearts..but I just love blue and white quilts.

Stacey 04-18-2011 05:04 PM

The plain one. It stands all by itself. I love it.

Me too.

Quilting Angel 04-18-2011 05:18 PM

Oh, I definately like it with the hearts.....so pretty. Of course, it is beautiful either way.

Quilting Angel 04-18-2011 05:19 PM

Now the blue hearts is an idea too.

Cottontop 04-18-2011 05:21 PM

Although hearts are always nice, it's No. 1 without a doubt.

spindreams 04-18-2011 05:32 PM

I love it with the hearts.

I like this idea

I like both, depends on who it's for , boy or girl, if I was to put hearts, I would do them all one color. If it was meant for a boy/male, I would do it w/out the hearts.

GramaLaura 04-18-2011 05:56 PM

I am a heart lover, but I love your quilt WITHOUT the hearts :-D

QuilterChick 04-18-2011 05:57 PM

My own taste would be for cutting out the hearts from one of the lighter blue print fabrics; keeping the theme. With no hearts, the white stands out too much. The pastel hearts (to me) are too "little girl".

Janet L52 04-18-2011 06:01 PM

The quilt is lovely. I lean toward the hearts. If you didn't want to use the colors of the hearts, how about using blue ones to keep the blue and white color scheme?

quilterpam 04-18-2011 06:18 PM

I vote for without!

KSue 04-18-2011 06:31 PM

When you quilt it maybe use blue thread in the white part so your design will pop.

Ruby the Quilter 04-18-2011 06:51 PM

Love just the blues. So peaceful.

Yes, I agree with this. Put some fabulous quilting design in those white snowballs.
