Sorry about the double post. Was not sure if the first one went through.

I like both, but for a 50 yo, I'd go without. If it were for a child, I'd say go with the hearts.
I like it better without the hearts. The snowballs give you some nice big spaces for some fancy quilting.
I love the blue and white would do hearts in blue if you want hearts.
Without.
without I think it is beautiful and if she don't like it I will take it. LOL
With HEARTS.
Love the blues - & I love hearts - if your sis is the kind that would like hearts, try them in one or all of the blue shades used in the blue blocks. Maybe all the different bright colors of hearts are distracting, but think it would blend together & have a whole different look w/shades of blue hearts.
Good luck in what you choose - BE SURE to send us a photo of your choice. Have a blessed day & may all your quilts be filled w/love. |
Really like the all blue and white..........a lot. Hearts take away from the blue.
Either a quilting motif in blue or.....blue hearts instead of multi-colored ones would look great.
without hearts
I like both but I am partial to #1.
without hearts, the beauty blue and white shines through and you'll have lots of room to quilt in those white spaces too!
I think it depends on the person who is getting the quilt- does she like a lot of color, or would she like just blue and white? Also, I like the idea of putting a quilting motif in the centers, but you could do that whether or not you put the hearts in the centers of the snowballs.
I like it without.

I like the hearts but on this quilt, I think they need to be in the blue shades with the rest of the quilt.
have the hearts quilted in!!!!!
I like it better without. It makes it looks a little too juvenile for me. But you could always quilts hearts in the blanks areas. I 've seen great stencils with hearts if you hand quilt,

without
with out the hearts for a adult
What a pretty quilt. I think the hearts look too little girl. Either do them in the same blue, or maybe use the white of the snowball for some really stunning quilting.
without the hearts..but I just love blue and white quilts.
The plain one. It stands all by itself. I love it.

Oh, I definately like it with the hearts.....so pretty. Of course, it is beautiful either way.
Now the blue hearts is an idea too.
Although hearts are always nice, it's No. 1 without a doubt.
I love it with the hearts.

I like both, depends on who it's for , boy or girl, if I was to put hearts, I would do them all one color. If it was meant for a boy/male, I would do it w/out the hearts.
I am a heart lover, but I love your quilt WITHOUT the hearts :-D
My own taste would be for cutting out the hearts from one of the lighter blue print fabrics; keeping the theme. With no hearts, the white stands out too much. The pastel hearts (to me) are too "little girl".
 |
The quilt is lovely. I lean toward the hearts. If you didn't want to use the colors of the hearts, how about using blue ones to keep the blue and white color scheme?
I vote for without!
When you quilt it maybe use blue thread in the white part so your design will pop.
Love just the blues. So peaceful.
