I like how the lighter block makes a frame around the center in the first quilt. I think it really sets it off.

I like the second better. Try are very close, but I like how the color blocks are toward the top, in the four patch part. And then the four patch has the color facing the bottom at the bottom of the quilt. Does that make sense?

That's what makes quilting such a personal thing. Take the exact same pattern and 3 people would make it 3 different ways.

I am almost done with my granddaugher's quilt, on the frame now, then I am starting on this one.

Both look good but I'm going to say #2.

I like the one with the white blocks down the center, which gives your eyes a chance to rest with the other action going on in the quilt. :thumbup:
