How about doing a tutorial on the wallet?

NauDeeGal 06-06-2011 01:42 PM

So creative and trendy looking!

The finished bag and wallet do not resemble placements at all.

0tis 06-06-2011 05:17 PM

Wow - that is so nice - looks very expensive. Did you use a pattern? Would love to know how you did this.

fred singer 06-06-2011 05:20 PM

That wallet is awesome... don't think I would ever be able to make one of those without a pattern. Great Job!

Great job. What kind of shop do you have and where is it located. Sure would like to visit it if I were in your area.

oldmountaincrafts 06-07-2011 03:27 AM

Wow, am I impressed. I try stuff without a pattern and most of the time it ends up in disaster! So along with several others on this tread, please please pretty please, can you do a tut on the wallet?????

dewie45 06-07-2011 03:30 AM

Yep I made them, I sell my bags and purses at a local shop. If you ever see someone with a Daisy Delite purse or tote thats me! I've also sold quilts and quilted towel toppers, just about anything a gal can sew up. I've been unemployed since Sept. its a way of making a little extra cash.

#1piecemaker 06-07-2011 04:08 AM

I love your wallet and purse. they look so professionally done. WOW!! If I could sew like that!!

My shop, well its not my shop, its in a local beauty shop where my mom works. Theres been an empty station there for a about 2 years and the owner lets me set up my own little space there for FREE. Most of the gals there have known me since I was little, you know small town, but big talk. Word of mouth travels. I dont make alot of money at it but every little bit helps when your unemployed. And I just love to sew. I rarely make the same thing twice unless asked.

kohenry 06-07-2011 04:17 AM

What a beautiful way to use placemats. Did you create your own pattern for these? If you did would love to see a tut on making them. They are fabulous. Great job.

Let us know if you do one would love to try this-I bought several placemats that I was just going to do bags on but your "set" is much nicer. Please pm me if you get tute up - I dont want to miss it!!! Thanks Cheryl :D

katkat1946 06-07-2011 04:41 AM
