Very pretty and perfect for summer!

ykreeves 06-07-2011 10:40 AM

These are GREAT!!! This is a suggestion (with a hidden motive), why don't you make, and sell patterns? I would love to make this, and using placemats...WOW!!!

MaggieMeg 06-07-2011 10:42 AM

Very well done!

The zippered pocket on the wallet was just something I came up with. I've made several purses from patterns and a couple of wallets from tutes. Once you do it a couple of times you learn the ins and outs and dont need a patttern. On the wallet I used a salad plate to make the curved flap. I'm always trying to find something new to sell in my little shop. I think this one might be a keeper.

You are one smart talented cookie! I love that wallet. Both are great. And I love the color.

klarina 06-07-2011 11:35 AM

very clever!

fishnlady 06-07-2011 11:36 AM

I would buy the pattern or tutorial. You are very talented and I agree with the other comments on here, you should enjoy revenue from your design ideas.

cowgirlquilter 06-07-2011 11:38 AM

I would buy one also. Mary

skydiver70 06-07-2011 01:35 PM

They are both beautiful. Don't need a pattern????? Oh, folks she isn't talking to me. LOL. My Mama could sew dresses, etc without patterns, but me I need the whole details.

My MIL made my wedding dress by seeing one on TV. I didn't get that part when they handed out creativity. I must have been asleep.

wvdek 06-07-2011 01:41 PM

You get another 'wow' from me.

littleone 06-07-2011 01:42 PM

Turned out really nice.

That's what I was thinking! This wallet is exactly the kind I like!

kathy6696 06-07-2011 03:02 PM

I'll have to keep watching this topic. I too would love a tut for the wallet.
Both toe and wallet are fantastic.

BrendaB 06-07-2011 03:04 PM

What a beautiful job you did, and you are just oozing creativity. This looks like a major money maker for you, with little investment and big sales potential. I'm even afraid to try a pattern. Being able to envision your bag and wallet from a couple placemats is such a special talent. It's like playing an instrument without looking at the music. Not everyone can do it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations. Need any extra placemats? I would be happy to donate some :-)

luce321 06-07-2011 03:06 PM

Very nice and great recycling, they look so expensive. Good job.

bels 06-07-2011 03:11 PM

malega 06-07-2011 03:11 PM

luce321 06-07-2011 03:17 PM

Elaine, how do you do those little "Smilies"? I am serious, please PM me. They are so cute.

Thanks, Lucy

OraLee 06-07-2011 03:51 PM

Oh Yes !!!! Please do a tute on the wallet. They would make great gifts for us to make on a tight budget.
