Good attitude!!
Looks great to me, too. You did a great job. I like the colors.
You did awesome! I love it.
Great a very attractive block
Looks great to me. Like the block and the colors you chose. I'll be watching for your finished quilt.
It is lovely!
I don't see anything wonky about it. I think you did a great job. Now, you need to make some and put them in a quilt of your own.
Great job, and really nice pattern. Keep it up, you are doing great!
It's great--don't beat yourself up!!! Be sure to post the finished creation.
It looks good to me.
I love heart patterns. |
That is a very nice first square and the applique is very good! I only have one suggestion though. I used to iron my quilting seams open like you do because that is how we are taught when we sew garments, ect but if you can iron them to one side (usually tward the darker fabric) your blocks will line up much neater :) Great job and please post pics of the finished project :)
That's a great block and you have every right to be proud of it. Isn't this place just the best! Love that you showed the back too.
I think it looks beautiful.
Beautiful on the front and back!! Have fun on your quilting journey :)
Great block. Once this is pinned and sewn to other blocks, it should be fine.
Don't get dismayed and don't stop. If you continue and frustration, etc. sets in.......Come back and discuss with all of us who thought our "first works" weren't what they should be but they were. This block is great. |
Wow! I'm impressed! Even a mitered border!
Very nice job!!
It is a very nice quilt square and it doens' look wonky to me. Keep up the good work. I am also here in Louisiana.
Great start to what I hope is a long and happy quilting life for you
great job......
Looks great to me. Your back is so neat and perfect as well. Looking forward to seeing the whole quilt when you are done :-)
