Kittygram,
I think because both the cross and the Easter Lily represent Easter and the Lily being the most recognized flower for Easter, that is probably why it is titled Easter Lily. |

I am caught up - but decided to create my own April. I wanted the finished project to be festive, since so many holidays are related to the months. No, I'm not pagan, or anti-cross. But the lily that was published was so plain. I had lots of Easter scraps and made this egg. If I were to do it again, I'd make the egg smaller, like in the January block, and make more triangle corners. But I like the way it looks.

OK...I like this better than the Cross/Lily. Do you mind if I use your idea?

Maybe some of you will notice that I made an error. There are only 7 eggs, supposed to be 8. I wondered why it looked stretched. Picking things out keeps me humble. |
Good for you. I didn't much care for this months block either.
I'm having fun following along. |
I,m hoping to get going tomorrow, but I,m thinking about doing just one block each and doing a small wall hanging. But I do like your egg better than the lily. What do you all think about the wall hanging?
