Love them both, but I prefer the 2nd one also

I really like the 2nd one :)
|
Love the squares 'on point'.

I like #1 the best although both are pretty.

I like the first best. It looks like your feedback now is about half for the first and half for the second...which means you can't go wrong either way! Stepping away for a while and then coming back to it may help you decide what you like. Love the way you've used the scraps and yet it all seems very planned. Nice job!

#2 is my choice but both are lovely

I like the first one best.

They are both lovely but I like the second one best.

I like #1!

Nice quilts.
|
Second one, but either is okay, I just like the second one better! :)

What about tumbler blocks as the final border in all your scraps.
|
I vote for #2~

I love the diamonds. What a pretty border. Your quilt is great. Variegated thread would be wonderful for quilt. Thanks for sharing with us.

Definitely the second one. Personally I wouldn't use scraps for the back. I think that would be too much.. Just make another quilt!
|
I agree with Stewy.

The second option looks more whimsical and gets my vote.

I really like the squares on point, but before I looked at the second picture, I really liked the first one too! LOL What a beautiful quilt.
I am greatly looking forward to having enough scraps to make a scrappy quilt, and I think I will use your idea when I do! (I've only made two smallish quilts and a pair of oven mitts...lots of scraps to build up! LOL) I even have a huge piece of black to use for the borders and sashing. Thank you for the inspiration! |
It is a bit boring until the squares go on point. Just MHO!
|
I vote for the second one. I like the way the squares on point take the eye around the quilt.
First option is ok too. |
I love the second one. The border looks great.
|
I like the diamonds.

I really liked them both!
|
i'd like a wide black border with pieced binding
|
My vote is #2
|
My vote goes for #2. I love the randomly placed diamonds throughout the sashings, along with the diamonds on the border.
|
I like both....great way to use up scraps. I do something similar....I do mine on a foundation, about 2 1/2 yards long, 7-8 inches wide. Then I strip it together usually 9 panels and call it my "earthquake" sometimes I put a row on top and bottom going the other way. I use whatever is in my scrap box and they are colorfull....you did a great job
|
Definitely the dancing squares!!
