My first attempt at a OBW quilt... Tons of fun, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Thank you! I'm planning on doing either a white or scarlet red border, with a black border beyond that. Might even do all three, haven't decided yet. :)
And would you believe I got it at Jo-Ann's? I wasn't going to spend $50 on fabric for a pattern I might mess up on, but now that I've got one under my belt I'm going to have to start eyeing the good stuff. |

Oh, I saw that fabric at Joann's and for some reason was drawn to it, but didnt' buy it. Now I know I should have made a OBW with it. Looks GREAT!

Hehe, thanks everyone! I think OBW's are great for neat designs on a budget; Jo-ann's usually has a bunch of large prints we'd never use otherwise, and with a 50% off coupon it makes the deal even sweeter.

I have to say.. OBW is not one of my favs. However.. I really like yours! Funny how the fabric makes all the difference.
