I have no idea how to quilt something this beautiful. That being said, as soon as you do get it quilted, get it insured. It's gorgeous and I can't imagine having to make a second one if something happens to your original. Thank you for sharing, it's a treat to have seen it.

Absolutly gorgeous!! I love this pattern. Started mine over a year ago, worked on it for along time, then other things got in the way, have never got back to it. Yours is an inspiration to me.
Glad you stuck with it and finished it is beautiful!
Just beautiful, can see why you tired of cutting and sewing. But it was all worth it!
Absolutely gorgeous! No idea on quilting.
I just love this quilt, all the gorgeous colours with the white is fabulous!!
It's a beautiful quilt. It would take me years to complete the top.
That is absolutely amazing, I can see why it took so long but look at how great it is! Pat yourself on the back for a job very well done. I think the size would work good on my king bed.
Oh, my. This is a beautiful job. I can't imagine cutting and piecing these small pieces
That is just awesome. Just curious if you know the number of pieces in it.
OMIGOSH.....you certainly did a great job! That quilt takes my breath away. I can't imagine the patience it took!
It is beautiful. I would never have the patience to make one so I'll just admire from afar. :)
Lovely!! I soooo love this pattern.
I too have one of them in progress. Started mine ... 2 years ago I think, then put it down when I had all of the double-nine-patch blocks completed ... for over a year to work on other stuff. I just picked it up again a few weeks ago actually and am also enjoying getting back into it! Mine is also a scrappy color on a mixed WOW background. I don't know which overall patten I'll use to quilt, but it will be an overall pattern with some curvy elements. Whether I do it free hand or send it to someone with a panto ... not sure yet. |
Well, your patience and diligence certainly paid off. What a beautiful quilt.
It's beautiful but I can't imagine what you went through deciding the placement of all the little squares!
OHMYGOSH I just love this quilt. You have done yourself proud. Did you hand piece or machine piece? I will have to find the pattern for this one for sure.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful quilt. Pat |
It is aptly named! It came out absolutely stunning! Congrats!
Wow what a lot of work-beautiful- glad you did not let it become a UFO
Beautiful! How many pieces are there? Looks like a million, good for you for sticking to it, it's very colorful and bright!
OMIGOSH is the perfect name. wonderful, beautiful and BIG, are you putting a boarder around it? I cant wait to see it finished. Great job Bobbielinks.
Wow, awesome quilt!!!
I would lightly quilt it. It is so beautiful, I would not want the quilting to overwhelm it.
OMG - the quilt is amazing. You are to be congratulated on finishing it, especially for a king size bed. It's absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely gorgeous! I agree that a curved or circle quilting would look great.

Nice quilt.
Absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I would like all the cutting and piecing. It sure was worth all your time spent on it.
The first time I saw the Omigosh, I knew I had to make one. After completing a watercolor log cabin I had a bunch of 1 1/2" floral strips already cut and decided I would use them for the Omigosh. It took some recalculating, but I did finish it and mine came to be 93 x 113 (with borders). Even though my blocks are larger (9" finished), the quilt still looks impressive and it's all made from leftover scraps, which is very satisfying.
Yours is beautiful - I'm sure it will look stunning after it is quilted. |
WOW, WOW, WOW !!! It is beautiful.
Great job Bobbi. As talented as you are at quilting, I have to agree with the others that an all over E2E would probably be best for this one so as to let your piecing shine. Another option is to completely ignore the piecing and come up with some modern quilt design. But if this were mine, I think I would be pulling out the pantos.
Love this quilt! I think I would go with an overall pattern but would stray towards a geometric pattern.
Wow! It's beautiful .
O my gosh....What a beautiful quilt. Can't believe how many pieces are in it.
WOW!!! I imagine your quilt being harder to put together than a postage stamp quilt would be; and either would take LOTS of patience. Thank you for sharing this great piece of art.
Definitely Ohmigosh! You are to be commended for sticking with it. It sure turned out beautiful.
This is gorgeous! It's one of my "maybe someday" quilts.
Something traditional like baptist fan or clamshells...too busy to treat each unit I individually overall simple design would enhance that beautiful piecing.
Goodness, what a project! Perseverance sure paid off, its stunning...Congratulations!
Beautiful, I don't know hoe you had the patience for it.
OMG, that is stunning!!!You have done an amazing job. Thanks for showing it.
