Beautiful quilt. Looks like alot of work but well worth it. No idea on the quilting but I am sure you will get some great ideas from the members here on the QB.

JoanneS 11-26-2013 09:51 AM

Picked my jaw up from the computer and said WOW! You deserve an award for sticking to it - and another award for creating a wonderful quilt!
I agree with Diane007 about quilting curves to contrast with the straight lines. But no matter how you quilt it, it will be beautiful!

justflyingin 11-26-2013 01:38 PM

It's beautiful! Sorry I can't help about the quilting...but it's definitely a winner!

Love all the colors.

DebbE 12-03-2013 08:43 PM

I'd go with a design that has curves and is very simple --- the curves will offset all the straight lines and simple because your quilt must remain the focus! Yours is THE best scrap top I've ever seen....I'm in awe!

BETTY62 12-03-2013 08:54 PM

That is one awesome quilt. Love the color combination.

sew1 12-03-2013 10:07 PM

I see what you mean about cutting, piecing and sewing. That's a lot of all of them. Wonderful job. Sorry can't help with quilting, but my brain tells me big design.

butter14562 12-04-2013 03:02 PM

The colors are so pleasing to my eyes.

tuckyquilter 12-04-2013 03:11 PM

Well, it's a beauty... so keep cutting & sewing if you wish. It's certainly been worth the effort.

twinkie 06-03-2014 03:12 AM

OMIGOSH is the right word for this quilt

nunnyJo 06-03-2014 03:25 AM

Oh my stars! It is gorgeous. You did a fantastic job!

Judith1005 06-07-2014 05:59 PM

There is a lot to LOVE about this quilt! It is gorgeous. I hope you found a way to bring this baby to completion and are enjoying it.

letawellman 06-07-2014 06:09 PM

the name really says it - OH. MY. GOSH!!!! that is just stunning - astounding - amazing... ok, I'm running out of adjectives. As several others have stated, I would definitely keep the quilting simple - in this case, the piecing is the star of this show - and would go with something curvy to offset the angularity of the piecing. A feathery panto would be perfect for this, I think.

jgriinke 06-08-2014 04:57 AM

That is beautiful. Great job.

Raine54RN 06-08-2014 09:28 PM

What perseverance, I can see why you love it again! Enjoy your quilt, I do hope you keep it, but if you plan on gifting it, it will be to someone that really appreciates your wonderful work!

llweezie 06-09-2014 03:58 AM

Wow Wow Wow that is beautiful !

Jamiestitcher62 06-13-2014 10:44 AM

Wow, that's a big quilt and a lot of work. You did a great job though and I love the colors.

justlooking 06-27-2014 02:56 AM

Beautiful!

Delbra 06-27-2014 03:38 AM

What a gorgeous quilt. If I had made that quilt I would not have thinking anything except are we there yet.

terri bb 06-27-2014 06:05 AM

WOW! i can't even begin to tell you how this should be quilted, an all over with a large pattern would give it a more soft snuggly feel as the pieces are so small to custom quilt them might make your quilt less pliable. please send pics tho when it is done and congratulations on a job FABULOUSLY well done!

jo bauer 06-27-2014 07:21 AM

Wonderful! Boy, quilter's sure have patience.

Sneed 06-27-2014 08:08 AM

I saw this years ago at the Paducah show and said, "I'm going to do that." I started it, got side tracked, went back to it several times and don't know if I'll ever finish what I've started. Most of the blocks I did get made have been used in other projects along the way. You stuck with it!!! How great!! Congratulations for a spectacular job very well done.

Lady Jane 06-27-2014 08:36 AM

Wow! You did a wonderful job on that quilt.

woodyandjake 06-27-2014 09:20 AM

I love it, it's on my bucket list as I got the pattern and have been saving fabrics. You did a very nice job.

PenniF 06-27-2014 05:46 PM

You have done an absolutely amazing job on this quilt. It is truly truly STUNNING. I agree with Rosebud....your piecing and the colors are the stars here...so i think the quilting should be very simple and understated. All the very best of luck with it whatever you choose.

sharisews 06-28-2014 12:11 AM

Fabulous!Awesome! and every other superlative. What an undertaking and accomplishment. Congrats. I agree with some type of curved quilting because of the straight lines of piecing.

twinkie 06-28-2014 03:25 AM

That is gorgeous but I don"t think I could do it
