I like the first one because the letters stand out against the background. The white behind the letters in the second one takes away from the letters and the message.
BTW, the U in YOU needs to be upper case to go along with all the others --- sorry, just the English teacher in me coming out. ;) |
The words show up better on the first one.

I also like the first one.

No words. Make a nice label for the back.

i like the first one, but would probably go with the suggestion above and change the words to a blue that would make it more subtle, or i would leave them off, i think the heart is beautiful and speaks for itself...the red lettering just takes away from the whole picture...
just my opinion. |

I'm with the majority - I like the first one best.

Both are nice, but I personally like the first one best. On the second one, the letters & the heart seem to be garbled up with each other, so neither the heart nor the letters stand out.
The first one your eye knows what to look at; the second one your eye keeps moving around & doesn't land anywhere, thinking what am I supposed to focus on. I thought I liked another poster's idea of leaving the letters off, and putting them on the label on the back. But, on the other hand, the letters on the first one make me smile and think, "Aw...isn't that sweet!" Without the letters, I would think "Oh, that's a nice quilt, but it needs something else to make it pop." It will be fun to see what you decide to do! |
Number one gets my vote. On number 2, the white is too stark a contrast. The words get jumbled in the second one, with the white competing for attention. I do like the border on number 2. I think the darker border sets it off.

I like the first one too.
