I like the first one, the soft blues don't overpower the words like the white in the second one do. Very nice!

My vote goes with the first one; however, my big question is--are you expecting a question from a special person or are you seeing a grandbaby for the first time? A quilt always has a story. Happy vacationing when you go.

I like the first one the best, but I would put the pieces of fabric that make up the "L", "E" "U" and the "Y" together (no space between the vertical line of the L and the horizontal line of the L and same with the E and the slant of the right line on the Y. It seems to break up the words. Otherwise, I think it is beautiful! Edie

I would agree that I like the first one better. The colors seem to go together better.
