I like the first one too. The white seems to pop out at you and takes away from the Love You!

I like the first one it makes the I LOVE YOU stand out

I like the first one best and think it says Love You just as it is. To my way of thinking the letters are not necessary and might even detract from the beautiful quilt itself. Just my opinion. Great pattern and love the colors.

I prefer the first one. The white is too bright in the second one.
