Oh, you are gonna get seeeww addicted to FMQ! What you did looks lovely (Nice table runner, buy the way) and, trust me, you won't be able to stop!

What a beautiful runner! Where did you find the pattern?

Instead of gloves, I tried two VERY large erasers I got from the dollar tree. I think I like them better. I was only doing a baby size quilt, but if I do any more on my SW, I think I will keep on using them.

I purchased the Machingers gloves and the SewSlip sheet and they have made a tremendous difference in my FMQ. Wish I had purchased them when I started FMQ. Especially helpful when quilting bigger quilts! Yours looks great by the way!

Congratulations, your runner is beautiful! I so get the feeling of accomplishment when facing the challenge of FMQ, I am still worried about ruining my beautiful pieced top with bad quilting, but it always turns out just fine. I use gloves I found at an auto parts store, they are very stretchy fabric with the palms and fingers coated with a rubbery coating. Excellent fit and the snug wrist band gives soothing support and my hands feel moisturized when I remove them.
