Well, I think it is beautiful! Like you said, the quilting will minimize the "off-joint" seams and points. Great job!!

Aunt Janey, books last me a long, long time. When I finally get a chance to read in the evening, 9 times out of 10 I fall asleep with the book on my face! I need to designate some down time for it!
Here's a photo of "Somewhere by the Sea" -- my little seaside cottage -- taken quite a few years ago so the garden looks quite different -- the icky planter is gone -- and the porch has wicker furniture, shades and an old cast iron dining set from the 1920s. The photo looks a little odd because it's used for the background on my artisan jam brochure. |
I have just started reading the Elm Creek novels also and have finished the first two. Hope the rest of them are as good. I love your quilt, too!! :thumbup:

Krystyna love your rose quilt and my MIL would die for it she love, loves roses! I bet it will be cozy and warm this winter. And by the way love your cottage by the sea! Would love to sit with a good book and a warm and cozy pink quilt by the sea this winter!
