I was feeling frazzled, stressed and maybe a bit old and slow yesterday about getting projects done. Then a birthday card arrived from my SQA. The message was just what I needed to hear. lol! I took it to heart and relaxed, knowing you were there helping me. And truthfully, the rest of my birthday was great. Thank you, dear SQA!

Yup...I can tell this is gonna be great ALL year long!

I received a lovely hand made card from my SQA over the weekend. It brought me such "Joy". I am also into card making so I could appreciate the time and thought it took to make, and it is always fun to see someone elses work. Thank you.

I am slow on the trail here but did get my gift out finally. Thought it started in January then I started reading here and realized.. oh heck I am slow. so now I can stop worrying about being the "rotten" angel in the bunch. Phew! I am better prepared thanks to your posts I am all set for my January suprises. Its as much fun picking them out as it is receiving. Maybe even more.. so many choices .. so many choices..

I got the prettiest christmas card today from my SQA and she was so clever as to put my address as the return address. Pretty sneaky. LOL Any way thank you who ever you are. I love Thomas Kinkade paintings.

Postman has not been able to deliver mail for four days due to 24 plus inches of snow! Most mailboxes are covered and he cannot get to them because of the snowplows piling up on road edge.

Will go to PO tom. and mail my Angelees gift and see if anything is there for me. :?

I have the sweetest, most generous Angel of all. Today I received a second gift - an adorable little pie cookbook - which was timely because I'm still agonizing about what to make for dessert on Christmas and found a delicious sounding recipe for a Cranberry Pie. Since cranberries are healthy it's a pie that is good for you, right????? Also received a beautiful necklace enhancer made of fused glass. (my digital hasn't worked in ages and I either have to get it fixed of get a new one - or I would send pictures) Thank you so very much, Angel of mine.

It's a charm that you put onto a chain. In this case it's a rectangle with lovely hot pink and black quilt pattern.

I got another presssies from my Angel, but I have to admit I am not sure what is used for. They are round the top has openings, unsure if they are potholders or a hot mat. Please QA could you have someone other then yourself PM me as to what they are. Or PM esqmommy and she can tell me. Esq will keep your secret all too well from me so don't worry she will not tell me your identy. OHHHHHHHHHH or tell Kwhite. What ever they are the fabric is the cutest Christmas fabric ever. My secret angel has sent me my first package full of all kinds of goodies. There is homemade peanut brittle and a chocolate orange(yum yum), red & white fat quarters that I love. The best little reference book for calculating all things quilt related and fusible for applique. And, the card was just too cute. Thanks to my angel, you made me feel very special :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have this urge to make homemade candy...oh well it will pass...maple fudge...yum.... I have been so lazy this year :-D

oh oh oh I am so ready for my second package to go out.. Saturday after the mess is done here. I have so many ideas. Boy this is truly fun. I am already planning Christmas!! (dork).
