Well, I think I must have the bestest SQA of all!! Just look at the BEAUTIFULLY awesome wall hanging I received (along with just about the cutest grandson ever holding it -- my ONLY grandson by the way :lol: :lol: ). This wall hanging has been hand appliqued AND hand quilted!! I also got a wonderful book which is hardback AND spiral bound!!!

Oh so wonderful. Did you have a pattern for the Hexagon quilt. I love making them and have never seen such a cute wall hanging made from them. Could you tell me the pattern or book. Thank you so much.

I must thank my angel! She put another board member up to a gift hunting expedition - if any of you know THLRNI (i think...her name is Terri!), she went to Viet Nam recently. My SWEET angel put her up to purchasing some fabric for me and I just recieved it! There are, two large pieces - one a small print, off white with small blue flowers, and the other is a silky blue fabric - looks like what may be used in kimonos and other types of silky clothing. I'm sure I can find a spot or two in a quilt for it, IF (and that's a big "if") I ever use it. They just seem like "special" fabrics to me!
So a big thank you to my angel for her thoughtful and clever gift to me! I can't locate the camera right now, but when I do, I will post the photos. I just wanted to be sure you got a thank you asap!! You are the best! |

Sandpat- there are many of us who either don't have the money or any place to buy gifts every month. I'm sure that we didn't join just for the gifts and I'm sure that just a card sometimes proves that you're thinking of them regardless.

Just a card is the greatest thing. A card with a letter getting to know you was an idea back when. I think that was a great Idea. You are all so smart and tricky to keep us all guessing. My angel sends me an e-mail EVERY day. I love that. This is a very special group of ladies.

ESQMOMMY....The shiney stuff is brocade. I have some that I bought in Singapore that I absolutely love. Not sure what I will do with it, but for now, I enjoy petting it. Ok, not right at the moment, but you know what I mean. I'm glad you got the package. Wasn't sure if you did or not.

Received today another envelope from my SQA ! :-D
She sent 2 notion print FQs, an interesting pattern and a lovely card with a reproduction of a watercolor by a local artist. This time the mail took only 20 days , considering we had a lot of holidays this month I´d say PO´s improving ! 8-) Did I mention her handwriting is clear , firm and straight ? :thumbup: |

A couple of weeks ago, i received a beautiful block from my SQA, called Pansey Block. Some of you had ask about the pattern, and when I returned home from Paducah, she had sent the pattern to me. So, here is the Block again, and the pattern! Isn't she wonderful to make it available to us all!!

What a fun package I received today! My SQA is the best! She always picks out the cutest things. I just love her!
There were the prettiest fabrics and gorgeous green scraps and squares! I love scraps and squares of different fabrics. Variety is the spice of life! Check out that little yellow chick print! Awwww... And the quilt labels will come in handy. They're just my style too! My kids will flip over the candy. Thank you for thinking of them too! I love the notepad and Post-it's too. My son LOVES the weekly menu and shopping pad you sent earlier. I have it hung on the fridge and he consults it daily. Maybe hourly. He's a teen and meals are a big deal! And can you see the little spool of thread with the bunny? Oh my goodness, it's darling! Thanks for spoiling me so much SQA. You don't have to! I hope you get half as much enjoyment choosing items for me as I get receiving them. |

I received a fabulous package today from my angel, she is the best. She sent me a magnetic heart pin catcher, 3 yards of beautiful doggy fabric, a collection of blue noodles(gorgeous) and a Ghirardelli Milk and Caramel, which was delicious. Thank you so much for the lovely gift. I am so looking forward to December so I can actually "meet" you.
