This is the back of a quilt I finished last month. It was a big star quilt so I put little stars on the back.

I use estate and garage sale finds for my backs.....and piece them.

Barb, I really like the idea of putting the name of the recipient on the back (post 120) esp. if they are young. We all love our own name and that way they can sleep with it close to their heart!

I started buying sheets and duvet covers on sale to cut for backs. I also used a white duvet cover that my daughter no longer wanted to make her my favorite quilt. If you have an Ikea store near you I bought twin sheets there too. I read where some quilters look for vintage sheets for their backs.

Super cute! I like your idea of putting names on the backs. I've got two UFO's going for my nieces, and they're almost identical, so I think I'll steal that, if you don't mind. :)
