Stitch In Time quilt from panel
5 Attachment(s)
Most of us have panels like this in our stash that we've never gotten around to making the vest, jumper, etc that was intended. So this is what I did with one. Made it for quilt guild & I thought it came out really cute. Just did a large crazy quilt block then did some quilting designs on my Babylock Esante that were sewing themed.
Then I did fmq around the shapes & meandered in the open spaces with my Janome 9000 Thanks for looking. |

You are very creative and clever I must say. It turned out beautifully. Very impressive the way you used the panel. I will never look at a panel the same way again. Thank you.

Terrific idea for dealing with panels that need to be repurposed. It looks great.

I have gotten several vest, apron and stuffed animal prints (on sale) which I have used the same way. Always fun!
