Have you ever tried the Press and Stick Plastic Wrap from the grocery store instead of the water soluble stablizer? I use it when I embroider towels or something with a deep nap. It works perfectly for me and costs so much less.

Does it rip off well after embroidering? I just bought some but haven't tried it for machine embroidery yet. Also do you hoop it or just use it on top?And does it gunk up your needle? I know you can use it for quilting. |
I have had absolutly no problems at all with it. It is so easy to use....and so much less expensive. Pulls right off when you are finished. I just use it on top, no hooping.
