it just looks difficult.
it was actually very easy to piece.
drawing it into EQ was the challenge.

there is no orange anywhere in the quilt, so i'm guessing you mean the center strips of each triangle?

there are no y-seams at all.
the seam attaching the first triangular strip-set is a partial seam.
once all 8 triangle sets have been attached, the first seam can be completed.

I don’t know what the Lydia project is but they are much blessed to get this masterpiece for whatever purpose.

Both this and your DD9P are wonderful. Thanks for the construction tips and information re: the Lydia Project. It is nice to see you contribute some of your own fine work !
