I have one of those Doctor stools like they sit on and roll around. It has four legs and adjustable height. It is comfortable and very sturdy. Sometimes I roll around the house on it You might check a used office supply store and see if they would have one. I don't remember just how much I paid, but $20 or less The rollers are really stout on this one and rolls so smoothly.

Return it and get your money back. Nothing I buy that doesn't suit me gets kept. Things are too hard to come by today to waste that money. Then, by all means, go buy fabric :)

'Scuse me if this seems, um, indelicate, but won't your, um, you know, hurt after sitting on this for a couple of hours? Even bikers don't "sit" on their seats for long, they kind of stand on the pedals, hunkered over.

I can just feel my tail getting busted. 3 legs won't work. You fall over every time. Some office chairs with 4 wheeels will fall like that too. See if you can find a mechanics stool. They have more legs. I have seen them at Sam's Club.

Any chair that has less than 5 wheels, can be dangerous. Ask me how I know. I now have a steel rod in my leg because a chair with 4 wheels fell over and broke both leg bones.

I had one of those and DH put a bigger seat on it -looked like a tractor seat and I quit feeling like I was going to tip over when wheeling around I got around better on it then the wheel chair I was in at the time

wish you were in TN. I just threw away 5 or 6 roller chairs away. Some were high back desk chairs, and regular desk chairs. Wheels were good on all, but had upgraded. Why is it no one wants the extras til you get rid of them... someone else said they would have taken a couple of them.

Instead of Home Depot, try looking up your local Restore shop. It is run by Habitat for Humanity, where they sell donations that can't be used in construction. It is the fund raiser for the program. I bought a screen door for my home there and it only cost me $10. We have 3 near me, and they have every style of wheel you could want. Even if you figure in the gas, you will still get an extreme bargain. Good luck.

Years ago, we got some 4 wheelers because OSHA said the 4 wheelers were unsafe, they had to have 5 wheels. They were just going to throw all the office chairs away, so they couldn't use them at work, but here at home we could
