Purple/Lilac Christmas Fabric?
I am a lover of all things purple/lilac... but especially Christmas purple/lilac fabrics! I have a very small collection of Christmas fabrics in purple/lilac and tend to hoard it for something special... i made these potholders for a friend last year with my coveted Christmas yardage. I’m always looking for something new for my special stash - any suggestions?

Thank you... any ideas where i might find more purple/lilac Christmas prints? I know that when a person thinks of Christmas fabric purple/lilac isnt exactly the firsf color to come to mind - but i figure there must be somebody out there somewhere (besides me) who likes it?

JustRetired... that’s a great idea! I have never tried fabric dyeing before, but now maybe i have a real good reason to make all that mess!
Another good idea, Tartan - i recently saw an idea where you combine a potholder and a dishtowel to make an “over the handle on the oven door” item. Although i think if i were going to do that i probably wouldnt go so “over the top” on the potholders like i did on these. I kid you not, just the two potholders with the matching tag took about 3 1/2 hours! Yep it did - but i did a pieced D9P top, quilted a grid on the back, and hand-attached the binding to the back side! Yeah, too much work for a couple of potholders (which she refuses to actually use) but they were special for a friend.
Thank you, Jingle!
