    It's great My moto is "Done is better than perfect" It helps when I"m my own worst critic it also helps me to press on. Your points come together perfectly.

    Mistakes--did you know that ancient rug makers always put a mistake in their weaving, because anything perfect was not meant for humans, only for the the gods. All of my quilts are meant for people (and a few pets).

    It seems we're always our own worst critics. We notice every little thing we wish we'd done differently. I figure they're great learning opportunities. And I've learned a lot from the quilts I've made.

    I don't think a person can receive a nicer gift than one hand make just for them. It's beautiful and they are going to love it.
