Very cute!! Congrats on finishing your first quilt! I don't see any mistakes from here, so they can't be too bad. You're almost certainly the worst critic who will look at it; doubtful that anybody else will notice anything. And if they do, just say, "That's there to give it character!".

I think it looks great! Playful, colorful and, as Dal Lady points out, already cat approved. Keep up the good work. Well wishes to your friends on keeping their foster child.

When I see pictures of 'perfect' quilts, they sometimes don't look like they were made, but manufactured. Yours looks lovely and I'm sure the baby will have many years of snuggling beneath it. Nice job.

Give yourself a pat on the back! The quilt is lovely!! The baby will have a special quilt to cuddle with, and the parents will appreciate your generosity with your time and talents!

It's sweet and you exaggerate, lol, but since I have a grandbaby that is Epi-pen allergic to cats etc., please do wash it again before giving it to them.

Great first. The only people who make mistakes are the people who do things. You learned...great news.

I think "Dal Lady" nailed it--babies will never notice the quilting, but they will love the bright colors!
