    A quilt challenge!

We have a challenge every year at our quilt retreat in the fall. The challenge this year was to make something from a strip set. It could be anything from a place-mat to a quilt but had to be completely finished. This will be my entry!

I really like this! It's simple, yet each block holds it's own attraction. Very nicely done!

TY. I did have a pattern. I do not work well under pressure so I get my projects done early.

I am not sure if you can tell but I did the first 12 blocks to go with each month-either the color or the theme, for example, snowflakes for Jan, red strips for Feb etc. After the 12 months I stayed with a theme such as, fruits and veggies, patriotic etc.

That turned out great AND if you have any blocks left, they look to be about the size of place mats ... LOVE it! Giving me a great idea for making some scrappy strip place mats.

    Thanks for sharing.
