He was very surprised and so happy to have it. Actually, he had forgotten about it also. We now have it on a quilt rack in the livingroom.

Amazing, after all these years. My hubby picked a quilt he wants for me to make for him. I am going to try to get it done for you 23rd Anniversary.

I have about 8 of my grandma's quilt tops that I am doing. She hand pieced them and cut out her shapes using scissors and sandpaper & cardboard templates. She didn't use the best fabric. I even found an old table cloth that she had cut some shapes out of. But she wanted each of her kids to have a quilt from her. She has dementia and is in a nursing home now. but I will finish each one and send them on their way. =)

What a blessing that will be for all of her children. You are to be commended for your hard work and thoughtfulness.
