Hi I am new to the board and have enjoyed so much looking at everyone's quilts. Just finished this one for my mom a couple weeks ago and finished matching shams today .Still need to make valance and have bought fabric to make matching dust ruffle in blue. This is the largest Quilt I have made so far It was fun I am learning how to use my new machine with BSR foot FMQ is fun I actually did roses all over the top and taught myself how to line up hoop for borders to do embroidery .I usually do sampler quilts with my own designs about each grandchild they are alot of fun . My mom loves her quilt and cried when she opened it.Can't wait to give her the shams

You and your mom look so happy. You gave her such a wonderful gift and I know she really appreciates it. Even more special because you made it for her.

God bless and Merry Christmas

Welcome to the board!!! Glad to have you here.
Beautiful quilt, and I know your Mom has to be just delighted.
Is that your little poodle beside the bed, or your Mom's? Cute little quilt inspector, either way, and thanks so much for sharing the pictures with us. :D
