You always do such fine work, museum quality! Hope you overcome your quilter's bloc (pardon the pun), I miss seeing all your fabulous quilts. I wish I had more time to quilt, I'm so far behind it hurts, but I dream of fabric & shapes at least twice a week. So glad you posted, been missing you, dear quilter!!!
hugs,
dj

Sometimes you just need a break.

I understand and don't do whole quilts very much anymore. I do enjoy piecing so I collect 6" patterns and make one or even 2 per day to make into quilt tops. I send these up to Canada and my group up there makes them into "community" quilts for the needy. So I can enjoy fiddling with a bunch of blocks. Perhaps there is a group near you that would welcome using you pieces.

Hey Don, I've been wondering about you also. I haven't been quilting in the last 8 months. Cleaned up the sewing room, and now maybe I can get back to sewing. Your quilt is going to be another beauty.

That is a beautiful block. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Thanks for posting, and welcome back.

Glad to see your work again - I know what you mean about burning yourself out, but hope you're just accepting that you need some time and space to rest, regroup and recover from your many years of output. Enjoy yourself, and when the spirit moves you again, you'll know what to do!!

Nice start. Sometimes we just need to take a break and recharge. Hope you get your mojo for quilting back soon.

I like the colors you are using. I've been "silent" for a while myself. Hoping to get started back as soon as I complete handling my Mother's estate. If my memory serves me well, the last I recall you where cranking out a lot of quilts all at one time ... so you probably did get burned out. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Hi Don, missed you here too. Great block. How about making it a pillow and calling it done. On to more fun things!
