It is a beautiful piece of work- well done. Your design and execution are spectacular and it is a gorgeous quilt.

I understand how gutted you must have been that the colour ran afer all your work, but Mums understand that life does not always work out exactly as we plan, and they love us so much for trying our best, no matter what age we are!

Your best is pretty good- be proud!

The last hurdle - washing it - was probably the most traumatic time as the teal colored backing fabric leached into the cream fabric on the front (yes I did pre-wash). Very stressful.

Hope you enjoy.
I don't see any of the 'bleeding..' How did you fix it? You did a wonderful job!

That is just stunning! Truly. You can't see any leaching and your mum won't either. She'll see the love you put in it. Great job!

I read the earlier post on the washing woes. Looks like all is well. The quilt is beautiful and I am sure your Mum will treasure it.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL !!! What did you do to finally get the bleeding out, sure can't tell from the picture that you had any problem. Glad it all worked out & I am sure your mum is going to be very happy and proud to have it.
