Stunning quilts...I have that book in my personal collection, it has some really great designs. I am a great fan of thrift stores...yesterday I saw a Lemaire sewing machine with a huge amount of accessories for only $20. I was very tempted...but I already own a Singer and a Pinnock, I am holding out for a treadle, so far my resolve is strong...but who knows what the end of the day will bring.

What a great use for these quilts and I love the pattern. I'd never seen that. Very clever!

You are very strong, I am not sure I would have been that strong and I have 8 machines including three treadles, two sergers and an industrial machine. There is always something that another machine does that mine don't. None of my machines are expensive or fancy, but between them all I can do most everything I need. I am holding out for an embroidery machine and a long arm. I guess I can always dream. I don't think I could sell all of my machines and get enough money for one embroidery machine.
