    This lovely focus fabric, which is shown in the border, made some nice octagons. I grouped the octagons to highlight the ones with the most red in them and then added red cornerstones to that section in kind of a drifting design down the quilt top.

    That is so beautiful! I love the drifting red cornerstones - so many ppl would have just put them everywhere but your placement turns a beautiful quilt into a work of art.

    Thanks so much! I love seeing things in "drifts" instead of straight lines, so I think I try for that a lot in my quilt tops.
