Beautiful, light and airy. I love your quilt. Do I have the patience to make one....probably not. But I can admire yours forever.

Yes, I will keep the scalloped edges. I will use a blue polkadot for the binding.

Thanks so much for the compliments. This quilt was a challenge to make. Yes there are lots of Y seams. I think there is a pattern available without the Y seams. You may be able to google it.

I will hand quilt it. I love to hand quilt the 30's prints to keep the quilting the same 'era' as the fabrics.

Thanks for the name suggestions. I looked up Jack's Chain and found several similar to my quilt. There were several variations on how to put the blocks together. This one was done in vertical rows and each 3 inch section in all the curves were sewn separately. It was a lot of stops and starts to complete each rows seams. The blocks are hexie shape so it takes more time to put together.

I would make another one....but not for a while.

Beautiful! The secondary pattern of circles is just fabulous! And I love the colors! The construction is so interesting, too; not sure I've seen that before.

So beautiful! What amazing patience you have to pieces so many cut pieces of fabric. My suggestion for a name is "Carnival of Colors."
