Default This quilt top is finished....finally!!!!!

I always start a quilt on New Years Day while my hubby is watching the games on TV. This quilt has been on my bucket list for a long time and I though it was a good time to make it. It is made all scrappy by using leftover tone on tone background pieces from other quilts and 30's prints, all of it is from my stash. I worked for 2 months to piece it. When we were snowed in, I just kept sewing. The pattern is called Rainbow of Rings and it is from a book called Creative Scraps Quilting With Bits and Pieces. I made it bigger than the pattern by adding 2 more rows to make it 90 inches by 90 inches. There are 4,298 pieces. I will hand quilt it. I can't get it all in one picture and show the detail but I think you can get the idea. I have not decided on what to call it yet so suggestions are welcome.

Absolutely stunning. I think it could be the best quilt I have seen so far this year.

Absolutely amazing!! So soft and pretty. I'm horrible with names. Hopefully someone else can help you with that.

Wow! My first impression was of a wedding ring quilt, but sparkly! It is a very stunning top.

That quilt is so very, very pretty. It would have taken me years to finish something like that. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I'm looking forward to seeing it when you have finished.
