Quilt turned out really pretty. I love the blue in it. I would have the local shop do the work!

That is a beautiful quilt, and the blues really set it off. There's nothing wrong with meandering if it's well done. I would take her up on the offer if she does good work, unless you want to do the quilting yourself. It just seems strange that a shop owner would not have more designs in her repertoire.

Your quilt turned out great! I love the blue with the black and white - and the border complements both. Meander quilting will be fine - it won't clash with the sampler style, and it's FREE! Good luck to your group with the raffle - what a wonderful cause. Too many people are despondent right now, and they need all the help they can get.

thanks for the compliments, I worked hard to be sure my seams matched and everything goes together. I worked on the last border squares last night. Hope to put them on tonight. Off to the quilter Sat. am!

Colletta- thanks so much- actually, I was thinking how many tickets do I need to buy to stack the deck that I can win it! But I am willing to let it go- it's for a worthy cause and I will happily send it off to its new home.

The proceeds go to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention- a national organization, so I am sure there is no problem.

Thanks for supporting this worthy cause!

Beautiful quilt for a wonderful cause. I would take the free meandering. It's a way for another person to contribute. I wouldn't turn it down.
