Meadering sounds nice, how about in blue thread? I'm sorry about your brother. This is a great thing to do however.

The colors are perfect. I think the meandering would be wonderful. I don't know how to do it, but I've seen a sampler done with the meandering and it was beautiful.

Barb, i'm sorry i havent been around as much, but i just saw your beautiful quilt right now. It is absolutely gorgeous, and it truly does look like "coming out of the darkness". I know this cause is close to your heart, you've done a wonderful job on your quilt! :) :) :)

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I'm going to have a hard time parting with this quilt. It is truly one of the best I've done so far (with a lot of help from my friends).

I've received everyone's checks and put ticket stubs in the mail, emailed, etc. There are about 150 tickets left. If we sell them all earlier, I will draw the ticket earlier. Looks like my chances of winning are dwindling as others buy more tickets. But it is for such a good cause. I get a little attached to my quilts as I make them. :)

Just look at it this way Barb, you're giving the best of yourself. What could be better?
