Sometimes too much planning and attention to the details ruins the spontaneity. I am being totally honest…
Not sure what the pattern was supposed to be, but I like the colors and I like the "unstructured" layout. I would definitely finish it and make it a conversation piece and laugh about it with friends and family. The next generation can laugh about your craziness after you're gone.

I think it is beautiful, really like the colors and pattern. My belief is every quilt deserves to be finished. If you don't like it give it to someone that will like it. It will be warm.

I have started out being not too crazy about a quilt, by the time it is finished I end up liking it. That has happened a few times.

Of course you should finish it. We can't absolutely adore every quilt we make, but sometimes the grow on you. I think it is a wonderful quilt.

Since I'm not sure what the actual pattern was supposed to be like, I can tell you honestly, I love the abstract designs in your layout. It looks different. Almost an outside the box modern take on a simple quilt. I vote for a nice all over quilt design. Something that will make it look soft and comfy.

If it bothers you that bad, just chalk it up to a learning experience.

I like it. pretty colors!

I love it! It’s got great use of color and the irregular spacing of the bolder colors shakes things up just enough to give it an edgy modern feel that keeps it interesting. I keep coming back to look at it... I think it’s definitely worth finishing.
